Question by dadayiu: Are supermarket store baked goods better than factory baked goods?
I recently started buying supermarket ‘baked in store’ breads, they’re not too expensive but I’m just wondering is there any real benefits or incentives in doing so? I figured the ‘dough’ is made in a factory then transported to stores and then baked. Would they have less chemicals in them compared to factory baked goods?

I would think yes, they are better since they wouldn’t require preservatives in them to keep them fresh. Plus fresh bread just tastes better than bagged, trucked and stocked bread.

Have you ever thought of checking out a local bakery or farmers market?
