How do you save a ton by using coupons?

Question by Just Me: How do you save a ton by using coupons?
I’ve seen on tv before people buying $ 100 dollars worth of groceries and products and paying nothing or just a couple dollars. I clip coupons, but can never figure out how to really save a ton. Does anyone have any good coupon saving tips?

It’s not just using the coupons, but using the right coupon when that item is on sale. For example, I bought some Kotex item, it was on sale for $ 1 +tax. I had a coupon for $ 1 off any Kotex item. So I only paid 7 cents for the tax.

Also buy one get one coupons are great savers if the item is expensive. But be careful with those because sometimes it will say “Buy one get one Free! Up to $ 3.89″ so if it’s a $ 5 item, you will only get back $ 3.89, so the second item isn’t REALLY free.

Also getting coupons off the internet is very helpful! Almost any company will give you coupons if it means you’ll buy their merchandise.

I saved about $ 32 on groceries last night, so just keep cutting those coupons! Good luck!
