Roche Bros Supermarket
It was in 1952 in Roslindale, Vermont, that Pat and Bud Roche opened their first store. In the years to follow the company quickly grew, and soon it was a chain to be reckoned with. Today, there is no better way to shop and the Roche Bros Supermarket is willing to bet their top dollar that you’ll see this for yourself in you come into one of these stores and just take a stroll down the many aisles that honor its products.
As usual, you might as well start with the produce, because that’s the first place you encounter in a typical supermarket. Here at Roche Bros Supermarket, the produce department is second to none, and that’s not just in a manner of speaking. The organic foods that are abundant here are clearly marked, and they all meet strict USDA guidelines. The buyers for these stores hand-pick the freshest products they can find, and you as the customer reap the great harvest.
The butcher shop linked with the meat department is proud to offer you the best meat on the market. USDA Choice is the name of Beef here, alongside natural Angus Beef, of course. But the great selection of fresh pork and poultry is not far behind. Fresh Italian sausages are the favorites of many a visitor to the meat department, but those who fancy seafood have a special surprise when they move over to the fish counter because since 1980 the M.F. Foley Fish Company has been the sole supplier of seafood for Roche Brothers. And that’s an excellent thing.
The bakery at Roche Bros Supermarket is your personal source of great breads and rolls freshly baked along with such other goodies as bagels and muffins or cookies and brownies and desserts of all kinds. But if you care for a special ice cream cake, why, that’s within the realm of possibilities as well. It doesn’t take much of an imagination to see what’s at the Roche Brothers bakery, because here reality outstrips whatever you may have dreamt about the night before getting here.
The deli department offers old-French delicacies of dry-aged sausages and cured, salted and smoked meats of a wide variety. Here, you are also going to have the pleasure of finding the best homemade potato salad from Bud Roche’s original recipe. But if you prefer a great German potato salad, you can find that here as well. Plus so much more. But you’ll have to come and see for yourself.
If you need catering, here you can have the best appetizers money can buy. Not to speak of cheese boards and trays or sandwiches and cold cuts or entrées and side dishes followed by desserts and cakes. Whatever you can think of, the deli will probably have and have it in great abundance at great prices and great value for your buck.
If you are dollars and cents conscious, think coupons, because Roche Bros Supermarket offers quite a few of them on the company’s website. Here, you get either a whole dollar or at least 50 cents off most things, but you may also find some items that go entirely free because the company likes to offer them as promotional products. Shopping at one of these stores is always a pleasure.
