What groceries to buy that will last a long time?

Question by alltheprettyhorses: What groceries to buy that will last a long time?
I’m in college and I need to buy some groceries that won’t go bad too quickly because it’s usually just me that eats them, and that will last me awhile, like inexpensive things I can make that will have leftovers and stuff. I can only spend about $ 50 or under and that has to last me for at least a few weeks. Suggestions?
