Why can’t my parents be my co sponsors to bring in my fiancee from my home country?

Question by Jacob: Why can’t my parents be my co sponsors to bring in my fiancee from my home country?
People in my town say they can’t be my co sponsor. I checked with other people and they said anybody can be a co sponsor but they need to make more money than you which my parents do. Why people say my parents can’t be my co sponsor when other people say they can ??? I checked with immigration website and they said anybody can be a co sponsor.

Anyone can be a sponsor. They do need to make enough money though.
